Trying to make a point during a phone call while your phone is on mute. Usually occurs during a conference call.

Bob's point was a mute point because no one could hear as he had put his phone on mute.

mute-ant

A person seemingly unable to exchange simple pleasantries such as "hello", "how are you", and "goodbye". Often someone encountered only briefly (i.e. a cashier) but they may also be someone you see every day, such as a co-worker.

I just went to the drugstore to buy some toothpaste, and ended up having a one-sided conversation with the cashier.

Normal Person: Hi, how are you?
Mute-ant: ...
Normal Person: How much for the toothpaste?
Mute-ant: ...
Normal Person: (reads register and pays) Thanks, have a good night, you fucking mute-ant.
Mute-ant: ...

To go without sound during the televised broadcast of a sporting event in order to not have to listen to the inane and moronic commentators calling the game.

"Hey man, did you watch the game last night"

"Yeah but I had to com-mute halfway through because those announcers were so awful."

Triple-Muted

When you are on a Zoom call and you are muted and your headphones are also on mute. You talk and no one hears you, so you unmute and still no one hears you. And then when you finally unmute properly you can't get a word in because no one wants to listen to you anyway.

Well that call was a waste of time, I was triple-muted.
