Brown Luck

A string of resoundingly bad luck ranging in duration from a few hours to an entire lifetime. Although the exact causes of Brown Luck have yet to be determined, genetic factors seem to play a prominent role. Similar to being shit out of luck, but experienced over a much longer period of time.
His week wasn't going very well. His bike had been stolen, he'd misplaced his keys, the pop machine ate his quarter. He was suffering from Brown luck.
