A person who self-isolates during the Covid-19 pandemic only until it interferes with their own social life.

He only self-isolates from Covid-19 until there’s a non-essential reason to leave his house, like a party or chance to hookup on Tinder. He’s a total selfish-isolator.

corporations make individuals feel

so superior to most people

they feel disgusted of others

and stop interacting with them.

The glorification of movie stars, and the innate—it seems—cognitive bias that makes everyone think they're better than almost everyone else, help induce "consumer self-isolation".

Opiniotive Isolation

1. When a person has an opinion that is different than/opposes the popular opinion, but everyone except that person follows the popular opinion, creating an isolation of that person in the opinion's subject matter because there is barely anyone else that follows/ agrees with the person's opinion or a similar opinion.

Ex: "Paper Mario Sticker Star and Color Splash are better than Super Paper Mario and TTYD (The Thousand Year old Door)."

I feel opiniotive isolation because I think water tastes better evaporated.
