Sherlock Homeless

A expression used to descrive a very smart/intellegent/talented person who doesn't manage to reach success, and therefore has to live in poverty.

The term is created from a distortion of name of the great fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes.

-Wow, this piano player is really good!
-Yes, I know, this is Glarinov. He is very talented, but no music experts eppreciate his talent, so he has to live as a Sherlock Homeless.

hopeless romantic

A hopeless romantic is one who looks for the a singular person on this world that makes their world come together. They are indeed looking for the man or woman of their dreams. As a result, they prefer not to live in reality. The hopeless romantic knows the reality of love is that reality has no business being in love. This is why they will often perform grandiose gestures that may be seen as unsettling or borderline crazy to non-romantics. But to the fellow few romantics, these same gestures will be adored as beautifully and obscenely quixotic. And such is the "hope" of the hopeless romantic- to not only find the one who loves receiving such love, but loves giving such love. And the true hopeless romantic would always rather give than receive. Because they know then and only then, will there be true love.

I am hopeful to find my hopeless romantic.

homeless

a person without a home. homeless people often sleep in parks, shelters, vehicles, or boxes. the government does not care for homeless people, which is why they exist in the first place, so the only people left to help the homeless people are non-profits and religious groups. many homeless people are veterans. this is because once the millitary is done trying to get them killed for a foreign policy mistake, they leave them to fend for themselves even though they do not have a home, hve possibly alienated thier family, and are not well educated. many other homeless people are mentally less capable. these homeless people are harder to help, because they of their mental illness, homelessness is a vicious cycle.

jimmy dropped out of high school because he did not have the type of intelligence the teachers wanted. while still a smart person, jimmy asked the wrong question, so he got bad grades. his parents would not support him because he had dropped out, so he lived out of his car. because he did not have a degree, he could not find work. wothout a scource of income, he was forced to panhandle on a street corner in order to afford fast food. now jimmy is considered homeless

hopeless romantic

Someone who believes in a true love. This true love endures time and circumstance in the hopeless romantic's heart. This person is a believer and a dreamer. They do not qualify as a stalker because they don't want to infringe on the rights of others. They are patient and caring. They may or may not know their true love. They forgive easily and are prone to broken hearts. They often see the world through rose-colored-glasses.

Charles Dickens' Miss Havisham. Helen Reddy's Delta Dawn. Abagail Adams. (for her constant believing and steadfast role by her husband John's side, she could be defined as a hopeless romantic.)

Homeless Rolled

When someone without a permanent residence takes advantage of another person, usually with romantic intentions, and then dumps that person as soon as they get the material object they wanted.

For example- a guy whom has been sleeping on a girl's couch (because he doesn't have a place of his own) talks a girl into buying him a winter coat because he doesn't have one and then dumps the girl as soon as she buys one for him. Then she has been "homeless rolled".
