*California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo or Cal Poly SLO)

*California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona)

Graduate1: I got my degree in Architecture from Cal Poly.

Cal City

Name for Calumet City, IL. Suburb southeast of Chicago on Indiana State line. Locals refer to town as "Cal City" Refered to in the Original Blues Brothers movie.

I grew up in Cal City, over by River Oaks.

Although the highest division in one of the most prestigious Counter-Strike (first-person shooter) leagues, cal-i has developed the title of a virtuoso in any activity. Whether it be in Counter-Strike itself, basketball, or even cooking. Referring somebody or something to cal-i is very similar to expressing one's ingenuity.

"Oh wow your mom's cooking is cal-i."
"Ugh. That beat is cal-i."
"Game winner? OMG you are cal-i"

the greatest school ever, will kick your schools ass at anything (except football), has a farmers market downtown, had the coolest yosemite tower four floor two group ever in 06-07, known for its diverse white people haha, great parties, hot soccer men, find you best friend in a roomate, and the greatest experience you will ever have

stands for California Polytechnic, officially designating the campus in San Luis Obispo (SLO), CA

Dollar for dollar one of the best deals for an education, over 90% of graduates have jobs or grad school within in year and it costs less than half that of a Berkeley undergrad degree.

UC Berkeley Student : OMG I GOT INTO BERKELEY I CAN SPEND ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE MORE MONEY FOR AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE. Well, at least they have wonderful research departments in underwater basket weaving...it's worth it for sure!!
