OMG! I went on the most incredible wikifari last night! I started with Nirvana, got all the way to osmotic pressure, and then, 5 hours later, I was at Nirvana again!

Man, there's a test coming up, I better go on a wikifari.

wikifarming

Using Wikipedia to unearth tidbits of knowledge for the purpose of bringing them up in conversation, in a despondent effort to make oneself seem smarter.
Typical subjects of wikifarming include theoretical physics, trivia from sitcoms, basic psychology, the works of Nostradamus, Shakespeare's tragedies, statistics from practically any organized sport (most often football or baseball), the Renaissance, and pretty much anything that could make one appear more knowledgeable in front of the right people. Usually fails.
A. "I was doing some research last night, and I found out that any four-dimensional object in four-dimensional space will cast a three-dimensional shadow. Turns out, most physicists agree that little, if anything, can be gained scientifically from assuming the fourth dimension to be time, but rather as another spatial axis, which is how..."

Wiki-Racing

An internet game wherein one player calls out a Wikipedia article for all other players as a starting point, and another player names a different article that must be arrived at by using the hyperlinks situated throughout the first article. Wikibrain

the state in which you unconsciously jump from thought to thought due to extended exposure to Wikipedia's many random links.
An accompanying side effect could be the recitation of random and useless facts and stories. The person afflicted with Wikipedia Memory most likely does not understand what he or she is saying. See Wikipedia Scholar

Someone afflicted with Wikibrain should immediately see their local hospital for a castration, lest the stupid spread to any children.
"Hey man why didn't you do your homework?"
"I don't know, I was looking up how to do trigonometry when I ended up reading an article on Norton, the emperor of the United States. It seems he was insane."

"Man, you have some serious Wikibrain"

"Yeah... Btw did you know according to Cartesian Dualism there are dual commitments about the nature of existence as it relates to mind and matter? That means I exist in two places at once. Therefore, I can eat my burger twice!"

wiki jumping

When reading an article on Wikipedia, you click a link within the article and jump to a related article. On said related article, you click yet another link to a different article.

Often the article you end up with is not at all related to the original--like playing the game Telephone. This continues until half of your night is wasted.
To spend time wiki jumping:
1: Read article about Anime. Article links to Otaku.
2: Read article about Otaku. Article links to Serial Killers.
3: Read article about Serial Killers. Article links to the UniBomber.
4. Read article about UniBomber. Article links to Iowa.
5. Read article about Iowa. Article links to Corn.
6. Rinse and repeat.

Anime != Corn

Wikibender

Noun: An instance where you check something on Wikipedia, and get lost in clicking on other links. Usually it lasts for an hour, but can go all day. A very good way to soak your brain with useless, random knowledge.
I wanted to see where Duran Duran was from, and then I read the page on platinum, Cheerios, space food, Nelson Mandela, black holes, the gold standard, and human physical attractiveness. It was one hell of a wikibender.
