Scruffy

(To be a) Scruffy.

An often anarcho-socialist person with dreadlocks, usually somewhat anti-capitalist.

They fight for nature, the climate and for freedom. Can be found in towns dominated by Anthroposophical farmers/schools/healthcare/people etc.
Not to be confused with hippies/treehuggers. Hippies are all about peace and love and free weed; Scruffys are all about individual freedom and mutual aid, protests tend to become more violent too as they do everything in their power to refuse and reject authorities.

Person A: look at that guy with the dreadlocks. Why’s he in a tree?
Person B: he’s probably a Scruffy trying to stop the workers from chopping it down, as a political statement.
