Next time you think your sport is hard, the athletes wake up at 4am sometimes to go to practice. In the winter they don’t get a break from rowing, no they erg (rowing machine) almost every day and do weights when they aren’t erging. Rowing not only takes extreme strength but also mental toughness to pull through even when your body is screaming at you. To increase your speed and lower your split instead of stopping when you have 250m left.
