Utterance of the phrase invokes emotions that represents grandiosity and awe

or sometimes it just sensationalizes the happening.

The longer the AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH and the POOOOTA is directly proportionate to how shocked you are.
If the event is certainly shocking, you may complete the said phrase to "AH PUTANG INA!" such that it may indicate how truly shocked you are.

Receptionist barges in and says more clients are coming.

Ullu ka patha

Also interpreted as 'a friend of' . Ullo means owl literally and anyone so addressed is implied to be foolish. Thus a friend of one is also implied to be as foolish if not more :)
Essentially a Hindi/Urdu phrase common in northern India:

tum hara kya kehna , tum to ullu ka patha ho!
