When you pre-game to go to the bars, but everyone gets so intoxicated at the pre-game you can’t get everyone out the door.

Facebook Friend Request Purgatory

the act of neither confirming nor ignoring friend requests of those that I full well know and remember, but who have thrown me even the SLIGHTEST bit of shade in the past. I instead leave them to linger for days, weeks and sometimes a full month in 'friend request purgatory'--for punishment... and purification--before finally accepting their requests and welcoming them into "heaven" (i.e. my friend list)

Did your ex boyfriend friend request you? He's on Facebook now.

Yes girl, I have him locked away in Facebook friend request purgatory, to give him time to think about his choices and hopefully make better ones in the future.

The state of boredom, dislike, or displeasure a person experiences in between periods of changing their hair color, cut, or style. Can be used to describe the uncomfortable "grow-out" wait after a bad haircut, or recovery time after a damaging dye job.

I've been in hair purgatory ever since that stylist butchered my hair cut.

When the temp tyre is just cold enough that it needs a jacket, but you become too hot when you put it on. Thus begins the cycles of taking the jacket on and off to remain comfortable

Lobby Purgatory

Lobby Purgatory is when you're playing a game and you're stuck in the game's lobby for huge amounts of time or even forever. Most common game for this to happen is Landfall Games' April fools 2018 joke "Totally Accurate Battlegrounds"

Jim: Why hasn't the game loaded yet?
Bob: You must be stuck in Lobby Purgatory.
Jim: *leaves game*
Bob: OH GOD STOP
Jim: *dies*
