Fade itself means to vanish, disappear, wither, to lose color, etc. So a fader would be
something that makes another thing or someone fade away, from consciousness... or permanently from life.
Or someone who likes to fade away from group settings or suddenly leave when they're just visiting you.

1. A gun/ a weapon/something to make someone disappear
2. A knock-out punch that puts someone to sleep.
3. Someone who likes disappearing out of nowhere and you didn't realize they were gone until it was too late.
