A limit to how ridiculous, stupid, or insane something said or done can get before drawing the line. Lacking such a "ceiling" implies that either such a person is incapable or unwilling to realize they have gone too far.
Their points made sense at first but then they just kept doubling down on the garbage they have no ridiculous ceiling
