gay cold

The cold that all gays get during/after Pride. Generally refers to colds spread specifically during a Pride that follows one or more years of Pride being canceled, which causes everyone's immune system to weaken. Gay cold are especially common when the reason Pride was canceled the previous 1+ years was because of a global pandemic that left everyone in lockdown at home, for months on end, without exposure to a statistically significant number of other gays each week to keep the immune system hardy.

"I know I didn't get COVID because I'm vaccinated, so why do I feel like I have a cold?"
"It's the gay cold. Remember, Pride was last weekend?"
"Oh yeah that's right. It's definitely just the gay cold, not COVID. Thanks for reminding me."

An exercise in futility, self-flagellation, and 80s era technologies. ColdFusion is so bad that it has become synonymous with cryptic error codes, mysterious memory leaks, and asinine programing constructs.

I tried integrating that new API, but it coldfusions all the time so I replaced it.

The servers are coldfusioning again. I'll go restart them.

A cold prevalent in the gay community triggered by the dissolution of Pride Month.

I know I can just say that I have a regular cold but saying I have a gay cold can really zhuzh up my suffering.

The post nasal drip you're experiencing from the gay cold is probably from all the key bumps you did with Jimmy in the bathroom stall and most likely not a symptom of COVID, but a test is still recommended (especially if you're not vaccinated).
