Heel of the Bread

The act of parental figures settling for the less graceful pleasures of life behind their children’s back, so their children are able to receive the greatest in life.
*Only two regular slices and the two heel of the bread left*

Son: Hey dad! Thanks for the crustless sandwich! You know I hate the crust.

Dad: *eating both heels of the bread* Of course son. Some day you will understand.

This quote is derived from the Arabic old saying: لا تبيع خبزك على خباز. It’s used as an expression of wisdom and knowledge when said by you. Yet, when said to you it’s a warning that means you’ve been caught.
I know you’ve been smoking son. Don’t sell your bread to a baker, I’ve been where you at before.

Morning Bread

The bread one eats in the morning or for breakfast as the first "meal" of the day, most typically when hungover/recovering from a messy and drunken endeavor
Jon: "Hey Sarah I could really do with some Morning Bread, my head is just thumping from last night. You seen it anywhere?"
Sarah: "Sure here it is, I just had some myself. Found it in a saucepan under the table- last night must've been messy!"

Jon: "Brought a loaf of Morning Bread with me tonight, sure I'll need it! If anyone steals any I'll personally kick their ass... after getting rid of my inevitable hangover."
