blogruptcy

A portmanteau of blog and bankruptcy, declaring blogruptcy means making a new blog but not moving over your old posts.

This could be because your old posts are no longer relevant or because technical reasons make it too much of a hassle to move all your previous content to a new system.

After moving all my posts from livejournal to blogger to wordpress to jekyll, I'm going to declare blogruptcy and give up on converting my posts.

Blogitor

–noun - Combination of the words 'blog' and 'editor.'

1. a person having managerial and sometimes policy-making responsibility for the editorial part of a blog.

3. a person primarily responsible for the editorial content of a blog.

2. a person who edits material for publication on blogs.

The role of the blogitor is similar to the role of the editor in periodical publications such as magazines. If you write and publish your own blog, you would be considered a blogitor. If you are responsible for your company's blog content, you would be considered a blogitor. If you manage the contributions of a number of authors for a blog, you would be considered a blogitor.

similar to 'conscious' thoughts you have only in word format and fired out online. Generally contains mindless, endless and often pretentious personal thoughts and experiences you had or want people to believe you had that day. The world may infact cease to exist and you may appear unfabulous if your dont key out your 'blogscious' thoughts to the rest of the world on your iphone that very minute. An annoying, deluded and narcissistic personality trait of socialites, C list celebrities, self proclaimed 'web celebs' and wannabies.

Conscious Thought 'OMG I cant believe i just saw someone in 'Lilys Bordello' that totally looks like someone like kinda famous. Cant wait to tell everyone'. Blogscious thoughts posted to personal blog online... 'just had drinks in Lilys with Colin Farrell, totally havnt seen him for ages, cant wait to meet him in the Shelbourne of all places next week its been too long, hes looking better then he was after our last little encounter, i will keep you posted!'.......
