Everyone knows tube means TV, but in modern day it has evolved into slang for watching YouTube.

Herb: "Yo let's go watch the Tube!"
Jimbo: "Awe man, were gonna be watching videos forever!"
Herb: "Dude, I just gotta show you this one video..."
Jimbo: ".........Fine."

Tube Tied

When you're doing something, and a friend strolls up to you with a smart phone or laptop, or takes your computer for a second to show you a Youtube video. If you don't stop your friend after that one video, chances are, they'll show you another one, even though you are trying to get back to whatever you are doing. Congrats! You are now Tube Tied. Your friend will continue showing you videos until they run out of ideas or until you make yourself look like a big jackass by asking them to stop showing you videos. This is normally only really a problem with people that have a hard time saying no.

Guy: Hey, wanna see a funny video really quick?
You: Sure, lets see it
*watches video*
You:Well, that was pretty cool, lol
Guy: Wanna see another? *as he's already scrolling through looking for another, before you even answer*
You: I guess
*watches video*
Guy: Hey, wait wait, this one is good too
*brings up another video*
Guy:And don't even get me started on this one!
*Starts another one*
You: (Aw shit, I'm Tube Tied)
You: Okay look man, I have to get back to work, thanks for showing me those
Guy: But I have a few more
You: Get the fuck out!
