Overabundance of all things autumn starting in October - retail shops offering everything Halloween and Octoberfest related, restaurants selling everything with pumpkin flavor - desserts, liquor, cocktails, etc.

The house had been adorned with Octoberfestation, including a corn cob wreath, pumpkins, and scarecrows.
