something you say when something incredibly bad is about to happen. best used if you have enough time to say "oh.............balls."

a perfect example is in the the movie Posiedon when the giant wave is about to go into the ship. It is perfect because it takes a while to crash but a person watching knows that it will hit hard. "oh... balls." (spoken very slowly)

Simply, the expression "You've got no balls" can stand for:
You have no self-respect, you are a coward, you can't face your problems like a man, etc.

After the expression is told to someone, he has to prove otherwise- do what he was told to do, or simply say:
"I do have balls. You wanna see them?"

-Why do you let him insult you like this? Go and kick his ass!
-No, it will get me into trouble.

Term used to describe an intense, or extreme situation.

Origin: In aviation, the throttles (or power levers) are usually sticks with ball shaped ends. When a pilot wants full power, he moves the throttle forward towards the front wall of the cockpit. Thus, "balls to the walls" meant "full power".

When Dr. Smith's patient suffered a cardiac arrest, the code team went balls to the walls.
