The step before sending nudes. A prude is a photo that does not show full nudity, but is taken with the intent of inciting lust within the viewer. A prude denies the innate sexual value of the nipples, etc by using lingerie, towels, or other coverings to hint at what is beneath. A prude is a photo that is just sexual enough that you would not show your family.

I sent him some prudes last night. We haven't escalated to nudes yet, but I like him a lot so probably soon!
