The term now describes the exact same behaviour used for special interest memes that are designed to convert the unbeliever into thinking correct thought processes.
Adherents are enraptured by the astounding power of the sound bite, the incredibly deep insight uttering the meme gifts to the true believer, and the awesome utility to everyday life.
The infidel (normal average people) are appalled at the vacuous insanity, of poorly trained animals forced to degrade themselves by mouthing off such pathetic attempts at brainwashing and conversion, knowing full well the only people this meme is going to convert and bring over to the right way of thinking are the simple minded, the less gifted, and the appallingly stupid.

A feminist term used to devalue an individual of an opposing opinion, feminist cannot stand there ground in a debate because there ideology is based solely on misrepresented or biased studies and lies. This makes it hard for even a professional in debate to create a solid argument, this led feminist to coin terms meant to devalue the other person by making them look bad and play the victim card gaining sympathy. These terms are similar in use to words with powerful history being used to silence someone opposed to social justice (Example: Bigot, Racist, Homophobic, Sexist etc.)

Get the Materazzism mug.An invented term by a small but vocal group of people that don't like being interrupted when they are talking, particularly by men. This term may stem from a fringe group co-opting feminism that are biased/sexist against men.
Both men and women interrupt each other on occasion for various reasons. The prevalence of instant gratification in society may exacerbate the problem of self control during social interactions and prevent many people from practicing good listening skills. There is no sexual or gender bias for the need of everyone to act in accordance with being good members of society.
Despite its gender slandering and sexism, it's kind of a clever use of portmanteau.
