To project a stream of spit by raising your tongue and flexing it backwards. This often happens spontaneously when getting ready to eat and opening your mouth wide for your first full bite of large food such as a stacked Subway sandwich or a Sonic specialty chili cheese Coney

I gleeked all over Sam when we started to eat at the deli and I got a junkyard dog. I just opened my mouth and accidentally hosed him down.
