Frodig atletisk

Norwegian phrase to describe a certain physique. People who are "frodig atletisk" are neither fit nor chubby, but somewhere inbetween.

Commonly used for persons with a good foundation of muscle, but with too much fat to actually look like they are in good shape.

Guy 1. "Hey look at that guy, I can't decide if he's fit or fat".

Guy 2. "Naw dude, he's just frodig atletisk, it's all good".

Guy 1. "Man, that guy is so athletic, he must be in great shape".

Guy 2. "No he's actually more frodig atletisk".

Come home from work one day wearing nothing but a cloak and holding a empty sandbag. Proceed to walk up behind your girlfriend / partner and frantically place the bag over there head yelling “we’re going an adventure” drag them into the back of your car (a 4x 4 is recommended or Ute) drive them through the local hills or bumpy outback then remove the sandbag from the head, then place your butthole on there face and yell out “behold the ring of Mordor”. Works well with lord of the rings soundtrack. Can also substitute with the catch phrases “the beacons are lit” or “ Gondor calls for aids”
