A type of neurological condition which causes a distortion in perception. One example is body distortia which causes the person with it to inaccurately perceive their weight or bodily proportions.

My body distortia makes it difficult to tell if I've lost weight.

Distortive

It describes something that causes distortion, like a "distortive interpretation" that changes facts or sound with "distortion".
