Wikipedia-Spree

A Wikipedia-Spree is an extend period of time in which an individual constantly reads Wikipedia pages, jumping from one page to the next, motivated by curiosity. Usually the individual has no intentions of reading any of the Wikipedia pages they do read. The individual often looses track of time, only to find himself much more knowledge-full about useless knowledge.
"I totally didn't get my assignment done last night, I ended up going on a huge Wikipedia-spree for hours. On a brighter note I now know that the oldest hotel in the world was established in the year 718."

wikipedestrian

A term to describe an individual who initially accesses Wikipedia for reference purposes, but after navigating through interesting wiki links finds themselves minus half a day and plus a growing collection of Wikipedia windows; each spanning vastly different topics.
John: I was using Wikipedia to find info on a band I like; next thing I knew it was four hours later and I had 30 Wikipedia windows open.
Jane: You're such a wikipedestrian.
John: This is never going to catch on.
Jane: That's because you're not selling it, 'find info on a band'? Please, that sounds so fake.

The Wikipedia Game

A game that is played on the website Wikipedia.org. In this game, two or more people go from one Wikipedia page to the other by clicking on the blue highlighted words. The starting and finishing pages are determined by either clicking on the random page option or simply by choosing pages in advance. The winner is determined either by who gets to the finishing page in the shortest amount of time, or by who gets there with the fewest clicks. If one computer is faster or slower than the other, it is more reasonable to decide the winner by number of clicks. You cannot use search or the toolbox list of links. You can only go back if the page hasnt fully loaded or if it is a dead end. It is a good game to play when you are supposed to be working.
Jeff got from Willy Wonka to Optimus prime in only seven clicks! Now that is impressive!

By the time Phil got to Giraffe, Katie was stuck on Norwegian Desserts. She sucks at the Wikipedia Game.
