someone who draws their line in the sand over politically incorrect words; someone who has that liberal arts degree confidence when it comes to dismissing people because they don't fit their schema of a decent human being; you make one joke based on someones erratic behavior and then they use it as a platform or to rant about gender equality, wage gap, or other politics; ultimately the biggest ass sniffer rat that uses social justice and other important issues to inflate their own ego

Virtue Shark

An internet user (usually on tumblr, discord, or reddit) who makes convoluted claims that a group, event, or idea is morally wrong in order to make themselves seem morally right. Most of the times, their methods involve claiming that something completely innocent and irrelevant is bigoted in some elaborate way. They are common in fandom spaces.

"I've been getting so much hate for writing characters X and Y as romantic in my fanfiction because some virtue shark had to accuse me of "perpetuating the belief" that male and female characters can't be friends. That's not even something I said!

Stolen Virtue

Borrowing from Stolen Valour, Stolen Virtue is the behaviour of falsely celebrating yourself as a hero of the culture wars. It's defined by people who seek to attach themselves morally to social change in exchange for virtue medals. Changes that they either previously resisted, or had nothing to do with implementing.
