NOT emo. NOT punk. All you guys say that the used is just a group of fuckasses that are drug addies and can't sing.
TOO BAD they recorded a song with My Chemical Romance called "UNDER PRESSURE" (best song ever, might i add. Also a remake of "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie) and the money they made from the song went to the disastrous Tsunami Relief Programs. Hell, calling people that actually CARE instead of sitting on their asses fuckbags is NOT going to help your cause of trying to make them sound like careless drug addies that only care about themselves.

a band from orem utah. started around 2000. original line up was Bert McCracken (Vocals)Quinn Allman (Guitar)Jeph Howard (Bass) and Brandon Stieneckert (drums). reaslesed there self titled debut album in 2002. there second record "in love and death" in 2004. then in 2006 Brandon left the band and now drums for rancid. there new drummer is named Dan Whitesides. he wrote all the new songs for the 2007 album called "lies for the liars" but did not record on it. the also released a dvd called "berth" in 2007 before the record came out
the used is a good band

Another generic "emo" band created for the sole purpose of bilking millions out of misguided, brain-washed teens who like what they are told to like because they're a bunch of sheep who can't think for themselves.
Brain-washed Teen A: The Used rocks!
Brain-washed Teen B: Yeah! They're a killer band that pretty much just emulates every other commercialized, mass-produced "emo" band and they totally empathize with my "terrible" life of comfort. My parents totally don't understand me, the hot, popular guy at school doesn't even look at me, and even though I'm bulemic and 40 pounds underweight, the popular girls don't like me -- but The Used makes it all better!
