one of the many hellholes of the us. way overrated and overpriced.the only good things people define la by are the beaches, weather, size. other than that, it's a total nightmare. most people are either phony as hell or rude as hell, and don't give a fuck about anyone else. people who you thought were friends will backstab you when you least expect it. everyone has some agenda (be an actor, director, star, model, millionaire, etc.) people aren't upfront about anything. everything is covered in smog and filth, except for the extremely wealthy areas like beverly hills, santa monica, malibu. nobody walks anywhere except in the designated shopping areas. people look at you like you are a freak or something if you are walking. people judge you based on your car and bank account mostly. there are illegal mexicans everywhere. they are rude, loud, obnoxious and disgusting. the rent is so high now that it costs about $1000 a month to live in a dumpy little single apartment in a sleazy, rundown neighborhood. people will smile in your face, then stab you in the back, over and over again. it takes hours to get anywhere on the public transportation, and traffic is always terrible. oh, but the weather is warm and there's lots of entertainment.

Los Alamitos

The city of Los Alamitos has 11,000 people, but it's really two cities- the area southwest of Katella and Los Alamitos Boulevard is known as Rossmoor. Rossmoor is an area primarily comprised of rich WASPs, and women who like to gossip. Many people in Rossmoor do not even consider themselves Los Alamitos-ans. The rest of Los Alamitos is more diverse, and you can find people of any race or background in this area. While the high school is good for the area, it is not one of the best in California, especially compared to nearby schools like Whitney, Oxford, Troy, and University. And while the football team used to be good, once the class of 05 graduated, it began to suck.

Los Alamitos means little cottonwood, but does anyone really care?

Los Angeles

A city where everyone is praying for everyone else to suffer and fail. Any time something bad happens to you there, no one will help, but there will be no shortage of people to smirk at you, not realizing that while they're distracted by doing it, they're only about five seconds away from walking into an open man-hole themselves. A city filled with embittered non-white racists whose only pleasure comes from tormenting the pathetically passive (yet still more productive)white population, but who can only use this to forget their own misery for mere moments. The Randy Newman song "I Love L.A.", if you actually listen to it, has lines in it like "...look at that homeless guy, he's screaming' to himself..." That's the real L.A. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
