"Lal" was a term he made up because of his ADHD and possible Autism.

It stands for "Long ass laugh" and thus became popular amongst his friends.

An acronym to be used when one feels using lol exaggerates the true reaction, or gives too much credit to the comment. Multifunctional, it allows for either the offering of respect for said comment, but not too much, or provides a slight diss, as it isn’t funny enough for a lol, or simply offers the true reaction.
