It’s the most beautiful, respectful, peaceful and interesting religion but people make it look disrespectful.
For example a white guy says islam don’t like woman but the islam says have respect for woman. A white guy says muslim people are terrorists but it are the crazy people who are and they can’t call themselves muslim anymore if they be like that unless they really feel sorry and ask forgiveness.

Islam is a beautiful religion like most others that show that there is a place for good and bad, a place for the believers and non-believers. It also shows that the are consequences to your actions, may they be good consequences or bad consequences. Just like most other religions Islam has heaven and hell, a place made for the good and the bad, these are reassurances that there is a reward or a punishment for the actions in your past life on earth. Muslims (the believers of Islam) believe that there is one god called Allah, he is believed to be the most strong and powerful by Muslims. Islam means peace, peace to all the creations from Allah, peace to the universe. Muslims think of Islam as spreading love across the world and not hate.

A religion created by Muhammad 1400 years ago. Muhammad is a prophet of Islam, although many people say that Adam was the first prophet. Last of the three Abrahamic faiths. Means "submission" in Arabic.
Currently undergoing a period of media scrutiny and is being ravaged by terrorists, extremists and Islam haters.
The Quran is the holy text, while the Hadith is the collection of saying from Muhammad and close friends.

Islam is a good religion, however it must undergo a reform and Muslims must learn to be tolerant of other cultures, religions, beliefs and ways of life of other people. Islam does not always have a good record when it comes to this, and Muslims often do not live in harmony with different people. Take current examples of Philippines, Thailand, Iraq, Pakistan and Africa for example.
We are seeing a new wave of reformist Muslims coming along in Islam. Hopefully this will be the change we need to secure a more peaceful world.
