559 fuckoff

The 559 fuck off describes bad news- usually sent via email - which is sent at the last possible moment in the working day.

The aim being not to have to deal with the "aftermath" until the morning when perhaps the bad news has been accepted or at least softened.

559 is literally one minute to 6 - the last point in the working day.

Depending on your working hours the 459 and 659 fuckoff can also apply.

"I can't be bothered to deal with this now - i'll give her the old 559 fuckoff"
