Expectations that shouldn't be but are.
This rock band Solence has unrealistic expectations of their audience, they are daring the audience to come and beat them up. Not only does it not make sense to dare a bunch of people you never met (that you would otherwise have no problem with) and who have never met you (and would otherwise have no problem with you) to come and beat you up. The logistics of it alone for them to locate these guys based on what time they're going to be where and trying to pinpoint them even though the audience members trying to do all this stuff have to work the next day, it's an unrealistic expectation and the band knows it when they write lyrics like that. What kind of audience member has time to go find and beat up some band member they never met?

This team is expectational

When the worldview of a young woman raised on all 18 TV seasons of Keeping Up With Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kris, Kylie and Kendall collides with 2020? not to mention? as if that weren't bad enough? their show gets canceled? I mean.
Growing up, she figured her days would like, be all, like, shopping, makeup, hair, like facials and stuff, and not like, unemployment? driving her mom's Kia to TJMaxx while wearing ugly-ass masks? This totally sucked and who was gonna pay for her Kardashed expectations?

Some people were expecting the guy to work himself out until he physically resembled Superman in order to keep his job. They didn't want him touching drugs, since drugs were like kryptonite, they wanted him to comply with their wholesome agenda/program. They called it lighting a fire under his ass. They could not under any circumstances, let the guy do what they were paying him to do or be human instead of superhuman, they had to turn his best efforts into bullshit over doing human shit that other humans did, and not satisfying their expectations.

A phrase often said by a person who has been hired for a low wage and does an adequate job but gets yelled at or talked down to anyways like they are hired you to be the second coming of Christ.
Manager: I told you yesterday to re-organize isle 22! You wasted a whole day!
Worker: I was told to put out stock and help unload the truck, you keep expecting gold out of nickels.

A double whammy subversion of expectations, in particular in regard to film and television, where the audience is led to believe that a scene will follow through with a subversion of expectations regarding theme or humor before the opposite happens. May not always work- relies on the assumption that the audience is expecting the unexpected, but not expecting the expected.
As an example, we can take the Wheel of Fortune scene with Randy Marsh in South Park. In it, he must spell out the word which means "people who annoy me". He manages to by dumb luck fill out every single other letter in the answer leaving him with N_GGERS. The expectation by the audience is that at the last second he will answer with the word "Nagger" rather than "nigger", however at the last second the build-up to the joke concludes with a subversion of the audience's subverted expectations and the joke plays out as it would normally: with Randy answering "NIGGERS!".

We were led to believe that the punchline would be changed at the last minute, but the movie did a Subversion of Subverted Expectations by continuing the joke on as normal.
