driving fever

A condition one gets when you can't stop driving to a known or unknown destination. This usually occurs after prolonged driving. The "fever" usually sets in just before dusk and often only ends when the final destination is achieved.

I can't pullover because I've got driving fever. I was only going to drive 700 miles today and drive the final 400 miles home tomorrow but I got driving fever and drove all the way home.

Driving to the Wailing Wall

Being a passenger in a car with a driver unaccustomed to driving a car equipped with manual transmission, staying in first gear way too long, resulting in a jerky, head-bobbing motion, i.e. like the pilgrims at the Wailing Wall.
