An unwanted lesion attached to one's sock, typically as a result of stepping on Floor Schmeg. Barnacle material may be composed of: pasta, lint, cracker particles, gum, cheese, mulch, pine needles, cat litter or sawdust.

My cat keeps dragging his litter through the house giving me constant cat litter sock barnacles. I might have to put Mr. Fuzzyballs down soon.
