Reality Check

A New York State-based youth anti-smoking organization that uses the same manipulative tactics to attract teens that they denigrate Big Tobacco for. They have a branch in every county in New York State. The organization and its representatives tend to be hypocritical, self-righteous, and defensive when contradicted. Currently involved in a censorship campaign to ban instances of smoking from movies, without any regard for the sanctity of the art.

Most kids just go to Reality Check events for the free stuff.

Checketts

The slimey resedue usually found on the back of older toasters. It is volitile in scent and mildly sticky to the touch. The scent of checketts will often attract a variety of woodland creatures including squirrels and possums.

person 1: Damn theres checketts on my toaster again
person 2: Dont get any on you or you'l be attacked by a possum!

emotionally body-checked

When someone puts you up against the boards emotionally. They beat you down anyway possible without laying a hand on you. Typically, they result in tears.

Today the new general manager of our Chicago office came to town. He met and shook everyone's hand with the exception of me. I was totally emotionally body-checked.
