Charlie Brewer

Charlie Brewer is the quarterback at Baylor University. He originally wanted to play for the University of Texas like his father and grandfather before him but ended up at Baylor. He is undoubtedly attractive but his football skills are less certain. He's majoring in Integrated Studies just like every D1 athlete out there. All of the girls are in love with him even though it is rumored that talking to him his like talking to a brick wall. He is rarely seen on campus and when he is everyone freaks out.

Did you hear that Charlie Brewer does cocaine? I hope that isn't true.

An expression of surprise and/or delight, coined by fans of the TV show "Lost" after Dominic Monaghan's character, Charlie, made an appearance in Season 4's premiere episode "The Beginning of the End" after Charlie supposedly drowned in Season 3's finale "Through the Looking Glass".

unsolicited charlie

When someone finds it nearly impossible to engage in any modicum of conversation without slyly dropping the name of his or her fiancee or spouse (i.e., "charlie") into the mix. Almost always a non-sequitur, and deserving of a gooey ostroff.

So I'm talking about fantasy football, and how I wish Portis had gotten in the endzone on at least one of the five times he was on the 1-yard line, and Alison comes strong with an unsolicited charlie, telling me how difficult her wedding plans are becoming. I mean, what the hell do I care about her caterer and whether or not she should go with Bacardi or Captain Morgan's? I'm hemmorhaging points here with Peerless Price, who Michael Vick can't seem to find in the endzone.
