outsider musician

An outsider musican is a musician who is a social outcast or does not fit the norm. They are usually reclusive, anti-social, and sometimes cynically insane. They usually do not follow mainstream music rules and their lyrics are very emotional and sometimes strange. Some people enjoy and connect with the candidness of their lyrics while many people feel uncomfortable. Outsider musicians usually become well-known through word of mouth.
Some examples of popular outsider musicians are: Daniel Johnston, Syd Barrett, Larry "Wild Man" Fischer, and The Shaggs. (just to name a few)

Rap Music

Rap music is an oxymoron, because rap is not musical. Rap is on one single pitch throughout the entire song. Some people like to pretend that rap music is musical, but people really laugh when others say that.
Billy: What are you listening to?
Bob: Nigga, Ima listenin' to rap music!
Billy: You mean rap. Not rap music.
Bob: Fo' shizzle! Ima gonna go rape my ho now!
Billy: You do that...

rock music

Rock music is slang for rock and roll music. Originating is the 40's and early 50's, it is a genre of music that has evolved from an experiment between boogie woogie/blues(ex.John Lee Hooker), gospel(ex.Mahalia Jackson) , and country/western(ex.Jimmie Rodgers) along with swing and jazz music known as rockabilly into the hundreds of subcategories and counting that we know of today. The REAL definition is a colaboration between all genres of music of that time. A colaboration of all races, creeds, and positions in society that couldn't have happened if it weren't for the hundreds of things that went terribly wrong and completely right in that period of time. In short, rock music was a miracle of music.
A lot of the reason rock music was formed was when the swinging Big Bands of the 40's were split up by WW2, many either died out or became smaller. They had to rely more on vocals and guitar than the large instumental compositions that they had started out with. Buddy Holly's was the rock music band that set the standard of 3 guitars and drums.

music

Music is the essence of humanity. light and beautiful, yet it will live on through the ages...through war, famine, drought, death...music will always be there. There is no sciecentific formula for music, it cannot be made on a production line. Music is only music when made by an instrument. Music is from the heart. Great jazz artists that are now dead, but their live recordings live on capturing how they felt there and then on that stage. Music is life, love and without it we would cease to exist!
Without music my heart would not know when to beat
