A style of Slam Death Metal characterized by exaggerated flashiness, performative corniness, and overt trend-chasing. Commonly appeals to deathcore-oriented audiences (instead of the brutal death metal crowd that slam traditionally appeals to), it is criticized for incorporating overused, lame gimmicks such as excessive Memphis rap samples, artificially slowed breakdowns, overuse of guest vocalists and guttural vocals mixed disproportionately high in the production. These elements are frequently structured or emphasized for maximum impact within short-form (15–30 second) social media clips rather than for cohesive musical composition.
Many members of these bands come directly out of the deathcore sphere, and as such, lose the point of the genre (which is to perform brutal death metal music that focuses only on the slams), so they instead incorporate hardcore elements or lie adjacent to the hardcore scene.
Examples of tiktok slam: PeelingFlesh, Boltcutter, Infectious Jelqing

Get the TikTok slam mug.Someone who will either have a Bible verse in their bio along with a “✝️” in their user or bio that ACTS like they follow Christian values, but is a complete piece of shit in (usually in comment sections or DMs), usually commenting racist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, overall hateful things ect. These people are almost always doing it as ragebait to give religions bad reputation, as they are much more comfortable talking shit through a screen, have an extremely warped sense of ‘righteousness’, believing they are always right and this is what their religion asks of them (it isn’t), or are just a terrible human being. It is best to just block these people and move on with your day.
