Good Charlotte is a band that DOES sound somewhat generic, but as an old and true fan, ill give you the TRUE low-down. Good Charlotte's most famous members are Benji and Joel, twin brothers from Maryland. they were raised by their loving mother after their father left the family on Christmas eve. they were poor, and were bullied by their classmates. Their first cd, the self titled album (one that most good charlotte haters dont even know about) was the best album they made. they were truly against 'the norm' and if you want to know how life was for them before fame, listen to their first cd. theyll tell you everything. However, i am sad to say that the band, in a way, DID sell out before their 4th album came out. in their second album, they bash the lifestyle of rich and famous people in their song, "lifestyles of the rich and famous." And now they are dating chicks like Nicole Richie. I will always love them and hope for the best, and i truly hope they remember where they came from.

Everyone thinks they are posers and it is pisses me off. If people have nothing better to do than talk shit about something they don't like they need to get a fucking life! So what if they aren't your style. Who gives a fuck?! They've been through more in their lives then you probably ever will. Just cuz they signed with a record label and have some cash now doesn't mean they "sold out". To make it in the music business you HAVE to be signed. It's just how it is. So shut the fuck up about them "selling out". And I bet if YOU had a chance to do what you love and make money for it, you would take it. So just drop that. Benji and Joel give back so much to the world. Just look it up and you'll find something about them helping. They give back so much more than all of you ever will. And if you don't like the band, big deal. Doesn't mean you should write horribly about them. We probably don't even know half of what went on in their lives, so they're not whining, they are just explaining how they can connect with a ton of people. If your dad walked out on you, you would want to express it too. SO just leave them alone and GET A LIFE. Thank you(: (BTW, They are OBVIOUSLY more popular than YOU ever will be)
