ACAB

Assigned Cop At Birth. When the birth profession of the person does not match with their actual profession confusion might arise, hence this term designating people who were born as sworn-in police officers.

This term is useful for people who no longer wish to be police officers, despite it being their identity for their entire lives. ACABs may present differently from other police.

Person one: How do you identify?
Person two: Well I was ACAB, but now I identify as more of a real estate agent.

Canyon Crest Academy

A very wealthy high school in the Carmel Valley neighborhood of San Diego. Students here are very motivated and take 5+ AP Courses each year, along with having an internship and playing Varsity Sports, to look competitive for colleges. Students are also very invested in the arts, and many go on to Julliard. However, because they ended the lottery, it's more like neighboring Torrey Pines High School, and is overcrowded.

Ted: "What's a real High School like?"
Paul: "I don't know, I went to Canyon Crest Academy"

Academic Cocoon

1.)When an undergraduate university student who is living on campus feels that he/she knows nothing from the outside.Specifically World events.

2.)When any person studying or working in a university that feels that they are living in a world which is protected by the forces of academia. In financial and personal terms.

1.)What? Obama is elected? I have no idea because i live in an academic cocoon.

2.)Money is for real people not for people who live inside an academic cocoon.
