A really great black metal band from England. They have really great guitars, haunting keyboard solos and best of all they have anti-christian lyrics inspired by 14th century gothica. I'm waiting for them to go on tour because I hear they kick some major fucking ass.

There best albums are "Midian", "bitter suites to succubi", "dusk and her embrace", and "damnation and a day" (in my general opinion)
there latest album "nymphetamine" is also very good. but its alot more melodic than any of there other albums, i enjoy listening to it, but the other fans slag it off.

It is a very controversial subject on whether or not they are realy black metal or not. Some people are too concerned about what genre it's under, it sounds good just the same. Cradle of Filth is growing in popularity, but unforunatly there seems to be some ridiculous dispute between Cradle Of Filth fans and Marilyn Manson fans. I personaly like them both. People should just learn to respect the opinions of others.

Get the Cradle of Filth mug.one of the greates bands of all time, and probably very underestimated.even through many changes in the band line they still prove to be one of the best.Why? Dani Filth. He is the adhesive that makes it work, probably one of the most dedicated musicians today. he struggled to make that band work and they do deserve notorioty in and out of thier genre.
