Political Sandstorm

A situation where the politics related to that specific issue cause so much controversy in the media and society and bickering between the various political parties over what is, how serious it is, and how to address it that it is almost impossible to grasp what really happened in that situation because you are unable clearly see what occurred.
Person 1: It is hard tell what is really happened in regards to whether or not Russia intelligence hacked into the U.S. election in order to manipulate the results.

Person 2: It is still hard tell what happened even today because of how the politicians and society responded. The political sandstorm related to that issue will likely not wear off for quite some time.

Political evolution

1: A phrase used to refer to how a specific political ideology or the beliefs of a particular political party has changed over time
An example of political evolution would be the Republican’s views on environmental issues. In the past, Republicans used to take a more aggressive approach by actively making policies and laws that would protect the environment from harm as you can observe based on the work done by U.S. President Richard Nixon. As time passed, as demonstrated by the work of U.S. President Donald Trump and Ronald Reagan, Republicans shifted to strongly favoring deregulation and eliminating or weakening environmental protections.

politically Chinese

Term used by Hongkonger/Taiwanese/whomever finds it applicable, to answer the question "Are you Chinese?" or its variants asked by Westerners in hope of preventing unnecessary misunderstandings and ultimately the heat death of the universe.
American : "Hey man nice to meet ya, you Japanese Korean or Chinese?"

Hongkonger : "I am politically Chinese."

American : "Bruh what?"

HongKonger : "Basically I can read, write, and speak Chinese, like Chinese food, enjoy most types of Chinese art, but detest the bullshit dished out by the CCP nowadays to the point I generally don't want to call myself Chinese even though doing so would be politically correct hence the name. However I am pretty certain if I answered that I am a Hongkonger you are going to ask "So are you Chinese or not?" "Can you speak Chinese or not?" anyways, and create a paradox that is going to rip through time and space, accelerating particles to beyond the speed of light and resulting in immediate heat death of the universe."

American : "Bruh what"

Political Intelligence

The capacity to recognise that politics is more nuanced and complicated than most people make it out to be as well as the ability to come to, express, and debate one's own beliefs and opinions with critical thinking while keeping composure when others disagree.
"Dude Kyle blocked me for saying that socialism isn't just when the government does something you don't like."
"Bro Karen called me racist for laughing at a Pepe meme."
"Those two really have no Political Intelligence, anyway lets go back to watching Jreg and posting on r/PoliticalCompassMemes!"
