a double edge sword is simply sword with two sharp sides, often it was used on broad swords, it is often believed of by people that broad swords are these long, straight swords, that look something like this

Edgerrin James

Edgerrin James is a Running Back that was drafted by the Colts out of Miami University. The Colts traded Edge to the Arizona Cardinals during the off season before they won the Superbowl. Edge is now a giant part of the Cardinal offense. He is involved in the community and gives back whenever he feels the need to which is often. He is also a very active alumni member at the University of Miami. Edge is a gangster with gold teeth and sometimes a bad attitude.

Jon: Hay Rick did you hear about Edgerrin James on ESPN?

Rick: Yah after he got out of jail he took a taxi cab to the cardinal traning camp.

straight edge

A way of living involving no drugs, alcohol, or premicious sex. This term originally came from a 1980's hardcore band named Minor Threat. They wrote a song called "Straight Edge" (you wouldnt guess). Most people don't know why they were ACTUALLY straight edge. As many people know, the 1980's hardcore was a group of people who just wanted to be different than everyone else. At this time period, all the kids were smoking weed, drinking beer and doing all that shit. These hardcore kids did it to be different. In today's society, most straight edge kids don't know about this and are just straight edge to be cool.

Back in the day, Minor Threat was a straight edge hardcore band.
