They take your location, interests and other stuff without permission, in return of short videos (in the for you tab) that is selected by an algorithm which shows videos that is okie dokie to china.
In short, uninstall the app. It knows everything about you.

this app is just a gen z version of the civil war one side of it is good with gaming videos, memes commentary, etc. but then there is cancerous side of the app which has such atrocities as gacha kids, fortnite kids, charli fanpages, charli herself, rich kids, dancing videos, kill all men, and other shit. regardless I have wasted countless hours maybe days of my life on this app because it's really addicting similar to drugs. but anyways because I need more followers please follow me on tiktok my username is cole_stevens69
