If a guy has convinced people he's Italian (such as an actor in a movie), but he's not really Italian, no matter how believable the guy is, he's not authentic, so he's a poser.
The poser had convinced people that he/she was from hell and that he/she was hell, but since there was no hell, he/she was just another otherwise obscure poser.

The poser said she got something everyone else said they got so that she wouldn't be the only one among them that didn't get it, she would be part of their group, she would see herself as being in with the group, even if not everybody did see in her what she saw in herself, as not everyone was looking through the same narcissistic lens.

They don't want to look or sound like guys who are dumbasses, losers, junkies, or goofuses as often, the same ones that wanted to look like astronauts often turn into cowards and let some male look like the loser.
The female poser wanted a male image, trying to say that it was equality, but in reality she didn't want the full range of the experience that went with being male, especially the negative things. She didn't want more of her kind committing suicide because they were losers, the way males have done for a long time. She didn't want more of her kind to look weak to the world, since to her only males could be cowards.

Get the Poser mug.Someone that says they encourage disagreement even though they can't really take disagreement or opposition to them, and people have already ended up in jail or worse for standing up to them. Someone that only says they respect other people, their experience, their beliefs, or their opinions because they know they want other people to respect them, and not because they actually respect anything about the other person.
The poser always talked to people like she owned the place and had authority over over to encourage/discourage them to do things. She never held anything or anyone (except possibly herself) sacred enough to respect it/them.
