Digital voyeurism is the act of recording someone in public without their consent. Digital Voyeurism is different from recording someone going on bigoted tirades, or to protect yourself from either physical or legal harm. However, Digital Voyeurism does apply when you are recording someone who is just “cringe” or who is visible nero-divergent. A good way to distinguish between the two are these questions, “Is this person actively screaming bigoted things that harms me or people around me?” And “will this video help me or anyone around me from any unjust legal harm/is there a crime being committed?”
“Hey did you hear that John is into Digital Voyeurism?”
“Aw, really? What’d he do?”
“He filmed an veteran having a PTSD meltdown at Walmart a week ago.”

The practice of never deleting a file from online archive; one who practice digital hoarding must do so without guilt or fear from reprisal. They just buy more space.
Itʻs a good thing I practice digital hoarding, otherwise I would never have been able to find that document from 2006.
