Painting her face

In the same vein as painting her nails -- describes the 'occupation' of a woman that only entails sitting at home and doing nothing while her partner does all the breadwinning.

The term stems from women applying make-up as part of their apparent vanity pastime, hence the 'painting' term.

The Steeve Face

A way to greet people, by pushing out your chin as far as you can and smiling, then shouting ah steeve in the most nerdiest possible voice. It started as an inside joke but has spread across where we live and is still spreading outwards into the world.
An example of what to say to someone and back to someone when doing or recieving the steeve face

bob *walking up to tobi pulling the steve face*- "AH STEVE"

when a person has a very square, broad face and a very wide mouth they are said to have a letter box face. This is because their square shaped head looks like a door, and their mouth would be the letter box. If a man has a large beard,aswell as a letter box face, they would also have a welcome mat.
