To take a sudden interest in the Metal Gear series and binge-play the entire series in preparation for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

You know what pisses me off? All these PC gamers trying to jump on the Phantom Train, crying for PC releases of all the previous games.

The Phantom of the Nutsack

(The purpose of which is to mimic the mask that the phantom of the opera uses to shield the hideous misshapen side of his face). Phantom Exams

Defined as the brief delusional feeling of guilt or agony felt by university students after recently finishing their finals, that they still assume that there is an exam out there or somewhere that he/she needs to study for but in reality there isn't. This phantom pain symptom usually occurs after a university student spends 2 weeks or more prepping for their finals in order to save their GPA.

Medical students are the most vulnerable.

Jon: Hey Richard! Excited for our winter break after long hours of mental burnouts and late nighters.

Richard: I wish i could enjoy it but whenever i wake up from bed but i still feel like we have phantom exams.

Jon: same bro, same.

phantom jerk

When a man, whose penis is locked in a chastity cage, places a dildo at the place where usually his hard penis would be, and strokes the dildo, tricking the brain into thinking that he's stroking his penis, thus triggering an ejaculation. Similar to how a crippled person would scratch a lost limb.

Phantom internet

This occurs when your preferred DNS server stops responding, or is no longer available, presumably due to your router.
When you already have a connection with another server/computer during this event, it is called "phantom internet", or internet remaining that might soon fade away due to packet loss or new requests, since new requests (usually) attempt to resolve a hostname from the unavailable DNS. Similar to phantom pain.

Person 1: My internet had an outage last night.
Person 2: Ah, that sucks.
Person 1: Luckily I had some phantom internet to finish my ongoing match!
