A break, or timeout, from a non-sexual activity that a homosexual thinks he is acting or sounds gay. The opposite would be a gay break, where a straight person is performing a non-sexual activity that makes him sound or act like he is gay.

While reporting the news, I sounded too straight for my gay audience and needed a straight break to return to my gayness.

breaking the pipes

the pipes refer to bathroom / toilet pipes

the term is used by people that haven't gone to the bathroom in a long time or ate at taco bell and it means they will destroy the potty and leave the restroom with a smile on their face

"oh man, these tacos are so good"
"braw, you're so going to break the pipes at 4 a.m if you eat another one! "
"breaking the pipes ! "
