Pulling a mooney

The act of publicly dropping one's trousers and baring one's buttocks for humourous or insultitive purposes. Often accompanied by slapping one's buttocks, often tunefully, shouting "Moo-neyyy!" and other such gestures, physical or vocal, with the intention of increasing the hilarity of the performance.

Pull The Chute

To backout, drop out of or give up on something.

Derived from the use of parachutes in sky diving. The diver "pulls the chute" on the dive at a certain point where he/she deems safe.
"Bob 'pulled the chute' on class again." This translates to the following:

Bob skipped class again.

pull a cracker

Chiefly British def - setting off a firecracker, or "Christmas Cracker". Christmas crackers are a traditional Christmas favorite in the UK. The Christmas Crackers are short cardboard tubes wrapped in colourful paper. There is normally a Cracker next to each plate on the Christmas dinner table. When the crackers are pulled - with a bang! - a colourful party hat, a toy or gift and a festive joke falls out.
