Schroeder’s Spirit Fuck

Similar to Schroeder’s cat theory where a cat in a box can be presumed both dead and alive at the same time, Schroeder’s Spirit Fuck is where an individual flying Spirt can be assumed both fucked and not fucked at the same time. This phenomenon is most likely to happen to an individual in a long distance relationship, trying to visit his or her significant other on the cheap. In this scenario, the individual takes the place of the cat and the Spirit plane replaces the box. Schroeder’s Spirt Fuck begins when the individual enters the Spirit plane, takes his or her seat, and finds out that the flight has been delayed or grounded for an undetermined amount of time. When the individual finds himself or herself still sitting on the plane when he or she should have already landed and should be having relations with his or her significant other, the individual is now fucked and not fucked at the same time. Fucked by Spirit and not fucked by his or her significant other.

Full-time spirit and part-time pay

This expression refers to someone who has the performance, mentality, work ethic, and mindset of a (good) full-time employee but unfortunately has the pay of a part-time employee (as that is what they technically are).

I go above and beyond work all the time. I love it so much and hate it at the same time. It is such a complicated relationship I have and the situation has just really made me realize that I have a full-time spirit and part-time pay. It's truly so unfair!

Hard Problem of the Spirit
